Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, has joined in congratulating the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s birth.

In his message for Eid-El-Maulud.On Wednesday, Akpabio urged Muslims to pray for the nation’s leaders and the country itself.

Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, issued the goodwill message.

“The occasion of the birthday of the Holy Prophet is a reminder to all adherents of the Islamic religion to rededicate themselves to prayerful support for those in authority and for the nation,” Akpabio said.

The Senate President also urged citizens to focus on the country’s good climate in order to accomplish a common aim of “renewed hope.”

“More importantly, it is an opportunity for each of us to devote ourselves to exceptional godly citizenship and love for one another.” “It is time for everyone, Muslim or not, to contribute to our nation’s positive atmosphere toward the collective goal of renewed hope for all,” the statement continued.

He also exhorted Muslims to follow in the footsteps of the prophet’s good impact on humanity.
