Kcee, Nigerian singer and co-founder of Five Star Music, has denied Harrysong’s claim that he wrote Kcee’s hit songs.
Harrysong claimed last year that he had revived Kcee’s music career by assisting him in writing his hit songs, including ‘Limpopo’, ‘Pull Over’, and ‘Okpekete’.

Responding to these allegations in an interview with the Afrobeats podcast, Kcee said that he had already gained fame before he even met Harrysong.
He remarked, “When I won Star Quest, Harrysong was still in the village with his grandmother.”
He further questioned, “I did three albums with Kennis Music, did Harrysong write those?”
Kcee expressed concern about Harrysong’s mental state, suggesting, “Harrysong has a problem, we need to pray for him. Jokes apart, we need to pray for him.”
