Exclusive: How I Spend My Weekends – Helen Paul

NEWS DIGEST – Helen Paul started her career from scratch, working in the entertainment field at Eko Reelmix Studios, Radio Lagos/Eko FM as a front desk manager whilst doubling as a back-up and voice-over artiste.

During this period, she featured on several music projects with artistes and music groups
including P-Square, Infinity, Olufunmi, and Yinka Davies. She also recorded radio jingles for a number of companies and brand names, including Bank PHB, Peak Milk, Indomie
Noodles, and Cowbell Milk.

Helen Paul popularly called Tatafo, spoke to The News Digest about her career and how she has been able to impact on the lives of young Nigerians.

The Presenter who has won many awards to her credit said doing comedy goes a long way in helping many Nigerians grow and impact on a lot of youth who also have interest in the field.

Helen said “Doing comedy is one way I get through to the youths, I try to encourage them to be who they want to be especially those who have interest in the field of comedy, a lot of them read comic books but when they see the performance and read my story ,they are usually motivated to toe the line of their passion, many of this things make them get better and is our little contribution”.

The comedian who is unique for her voice use and humor on stage also spoke about her weekends and how she winds down after the long week activities, you wont believe this

“Well, I don’t really have any specific way to wind down, I have lots of things I do, sometimes music, book reading and I have lots of family members that are around me, I have good friends too and I enjoy my weekends always hugely” she said.
