Betty Irabor, the founder of Genevieve Magazine, has debunked circulating rumors claiming that veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs has passed away.

Speculation on social media suggested that the esteemed actor had died at the age of 82 on Sunday. However, Jacobs, who has been battling dementia, is very much alive, according to Irabor and his family.

She tweeted;  “Olu Jacobs is well and alive. Please ignore all rumours of his passing.”

According to a video by Channels TV, Jacobs’ family has also released footage to prove that the actor is alive.
