Kcee and E-Money Vow to Support Late Actor Junior Pope’s Children

Singer Kcee, along with his brother Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo, has committed to financially support the upbringing and education of the children of the late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, who tragically lost his life in a boat accident last month.”

Kcee made this commitment at the actor’s funeral in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State, on Friday.

Kcee said, “On behalf of my brother, E-Money and our friends, I want to say sorry to the family. Junior Pope is a blessing to this generation. He is somebody that we will never forget in this generation.

“My brother is the godfather of his first son. The friendship we have with Junior Pope has been for ages. When the unfortunate incident happened, my brother said to me that we were going to take up responsibility for his three sons till they were grown.

“But we can’t do that without the support of the family. So we are saying it openly to the family, we are ready to take care of the three kids to any level they want till they are grown to cater for themselves. We will take care of their education, feeding, clothing, and holidays. We are not doing it to show off but to honour our friend’s dying wish for a better life for his children. And we took it upon ourselves that we are going to support this family to train these children.”

Junior Pope died on April 10, 2024, alongside three others after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.
