Ghanaian artiste Mensa Ansah, professionally known as M3NSA, declared on Joy News that Nigerian musicians outshine their Ghanaian counterparts, emphasizing their commitment to quality production.

M3NSA attributed this contrast to the substantial investments and time dedicated by Nigerian artists, highlighting a more entrepreneurial approach and widespread support for creating world-class music.

His comments align with a local campaign advocating for a minimum of 70% airplay for Ghanaian songs, reflecting the ongoing discourse on the country’s music landscape.

His words, “Definitely Nigerians are making better music and Ghanaians. I have to say this… They are definitely making better quality music because they are investing more money and more time.

“There’s more of an understanding for the importance of arts, but also in an entrepreneurial way. So it’s not waiting for the government to do something but it’s just like support, people investing a lot of money into creating world-class music.”
