‘Family, God more important than worldly things’, AY reacts to fire incident at his residence
The ace comedian cum actor, Ayo Makun, popularly known as ‘AY’ has reacted the recent fire outbreak at his residence.
A viral video has shown the roof of Mr Makun’s building was seen on fire.
While the cause of the fire still remains unknown, the video also showed the Lagos state fire service’s truck trying to put out the raging fire.

Responding to the incident through his verified social media handle, Mr Makun shared videos and photos of his wife and children presently abroad.
Mr Makun, who did not give details about the incidence, said his family and God are more important than the disaster that struck him.
He said: “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in few days.”
Also reacting, Mr Makun’s brother who is a famous fashion designer and stylist, Yomi Makun, prayed for the restoration of his brother’s loss.
He wrote: “God will restore more than you lost.”
