Yushau Abdulhamid Shuaib was born on October 10, 1969. He commenced his academic journey at Bayero University Kano, where he pursued Mass Communication. In service to the nation, he undertook the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Delta State, where his exceptional performance earned him the prestigious NYSC National Award. During the military junta of General Sani Abacha, he served as the Personal Assistant to Alhaji Abu Gidado, showcasing his dedication to public service.
His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a master’s degree in Public Relations at the University of Westminster, London. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of being the publisher of PR Nigeria and Economic Confidential. Notably, he held significant roles as the Head of Press and Public Relations at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

On a personal note, during my undergraduate days at Bayero University Kano, I had the privilege of experiencing Alhaji Yushau’s warm hospitality at his residence in Kano, Kofar Famfo, on numerous occasions. This graciousness extended to many Ilorin Emirate students, even during my master’s program at BUK, despite him residing in Abuja. His generosity and openness to help others serve as a testament to his character, embodying the principle that the reward for good is more good. May God grant us the grace to perpetually do good.
