Working With Buhari Heads For Ibadan

All roads lead to Ibadan, capital of Oyo State, and the book capital of the country, on June 22, 2024, as the city hosts the reading and signing of the memoir, Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, 2015-2023.

Ibadan, the city that gave us Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, John Pepper Clark, Niyi Osundare, and many other literary giants, will see book lovers converge at IACD Library, American Corner, beside Booksellers, Jericho, to interact with Adesina and get their books autographed.

The event, which starts by 11 am prompt, is powered by Purple Bloom Publishers, Ibadan Tech Expo, Safari Books Ltd (Publishers of the book), and many other stakeholders.

The fast selling memoir has been publicly read by the author in Lagos, Uyo, and Abuja, since it was released to the public in January this year. And now, it’s the turn of Ibadan, the city J.P Clark described as:
“running splash of rust
and gold-flung and scattered
among seven hills like broken
China in the sun.”

See you there, by the grace of God.
