We have no Plan to increase Health Sciences Tuition Fee- OAU
NEWS DIGEST–The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University have denied that there are plans to increase tuition fee or introduce a training fee in the college of Health Sciences of the University.
This was stated by the Public Relations Officer of the University, Abiodun Olarewaju in a chat with this newspaper.
Mr Olanrewaju said that the action of the students who alleged attempt to introduce a training fee of 75,000naira is largely pre-emptive.
“The students are only acting like politicians , the University did not attempt to introduce any fee and they are protesting because they feel there are such moves “.
This is coming as students in the college of Health Sciences rejected moves by th Association of Provosts in the college to introduce training fee amounting to 75,000naira in the University.
