Vote PDP for youth-friendly governance, Olanrewaju Oba tells Kwarans

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the Ilorin west/North constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulmajeed Olanrewaju-Oba, has called on citizens of the state to vote for all the PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections to ensure youth-friendly governance.

Hon. Olanrewaju Oba, popularly known as Larry, made the call while speaking with journalists at the official flag-off of PDP gubernatorial candidate, Abdulrazaq Atunwa, held in Moro Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, throughout history, youths have played significant roles as they have been at the forefront of different.

“You contribute greatly to the success of any society. Your contribution can never be glossed over in this country, especially as the 2019 election is around the corner. I urge you to shine your eyes and vote for credible people that would safeguard your future and, believe me, the right party is the PDP. It has done it before and it will continue to do so,” Mr Olanrewaju Oba stressed.

He, therefore, urged the youth to ensure that they elect leadership that would foster transparency, accountability, good leadership, respect for human rights, rule of law and democracy even at the grass root level.

The PDP candidate added that youth who constitute the strength of the nation, when properly harnessed should be instrumental to the development of the country.

He, therefore, assured the people of his constituency of maximum representation as he promised to sponsor bills that would affect their lives directly.

Speaking further, Olanrewaju Oba, who was the convener of the Mass March for Saraki last year in Ilorin, urged eligible voters in the state to troop out en masse to vote for PDP come February/March 2019.
