VIDEO: Prof. Zulum escorts Shettima to Abuja after inauguration
NEWS DIGEST – The newly sworn-in governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum, on Wednesday escorted the immediate past governor of the state, Kashim Shettima, to Abuja shortly after his inauguration ceremony in the state.
It was gathered that Prof. Zulum’s deputy, Umar Kadafur, alongside other government officials were also on the entourage.

Earlier, Daily Nigerian had reported that Mr Zulum’s acceptance speech was marred by interruptions as he barely delivered 70 per cent of his speech before he was rushed out of the venue due to ill-health.
However, other sources said that Mr Zulum was hale and hearty.
According to them, the governor was only overtaken by emotions due to outpouring goodwill from the people of the state, “that was why he could not finish up his speech.”
