Governor Uba Sani Appoints Bashir Suleiman-Zuntu as Kaduna State’s New Accountant General
NEWS DIGEST – Governor Uba Sani has announced the appointment of Bashir Suleiman Zuntu as the Accountant General of Kaduna State.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was made in recognition of Mr. Zuntu’s outstanding qualifications, experience, and track record of excellence in financial management.
Mr. Zuntu is a Chartered Accountant, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and Astute Administrator who has served in various capacities in both the public and private sectors. He served as Senior Accountant at the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, and Senior Accountant at the Finance and Accounts Department of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). He also served as Executive Chairman of Kubau Local Government, Kaduna State from 2021 to 2023.

Mr. Zuntu holds a Master of Science (MSC) Degree in Finance from Coventry University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja. He has skills and competences in Financial Management, Financial Inclusion, and Public Administration.
