Thierry Henry: ‘Premier League Title is Manchester City’s to Lose’

Thierry Henry, the former French and Arsenal striker, says he expects Manchester City to win the league title ahead of the final Premier League game week this Sunday evening.

In a conversation with the BBC, Henry praised Pep Guardiola’s squad for their exceptional performance and resilience.

Manchester City currently sits two points ahead of Arsenal and a victory against West Ham on their home ground on the final day would ensure their fourth consecutive title.

Pep Guardiola’s side is on the brink of making history with a fourth consecutive title, while Arsenal is aiming to win their first Premier League title in two decades, a feat not achieved since the Invincibles of 2004.

Henry said: “It’s in their hands and I know how I would have been.

“I’ve seen them doing it so many times to the (Sergio) Aguero moment, to the Tottenham game the other day to whatever.

“I’ve seen them not collapsing so it bothers me to think that they will. But the fan on the other side, the fan on the other side is like, ‘Hey listen, you never know what can happen’.”
