Senator Abubakar Sani Bello representing Zone C of Niger State in the National Assembly recently attended a crucial All Progressive Congress (APC) Stakeholders meeting in Kontagora, the headquarters of Kontagora local government drawing a significant crowd of party supporters and leaders.

The gathering included notable figures such as Niger State APC Chairman Alhaji Aminu Bobi and Zone C party Excos.

Accompanied by key political figures, including Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba, APC Vice Chairman Hon. Muazu Bawa Rijau, Senator Ibrahim Musa, and Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, Senator Sani Bello emphasized the importance of party unity and progress.

In a press release, Senator Sani Bello’s Media Adviser, Muawiyah Yusuf Muye, highlighted the purpose of the visit—discussing strategies for advancing the party in Zone C. The Senator paid homage to the Sarkin Sudan Kontagora, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Muazu, conveying the Party Chairman’s invitation.

During the meeting, Senator Sani Bello pledged commitment to the party’s progress, acknowledging the transition from governor to legislator and detailing legislative initiatives, including bills for education and healthcare development.

Refuting social media rumors, the Senator clarified the delay in distributing palliatives, assuring constituents of prompt delivery once obtained. He advocated for skill acquisition over dependency on palliatives, recognizing challenges in poverty alleviation efforts.

Addressing insecurity concerns, Senator Sani Bello commended local leadership efforts and highlighted the impact of extreme poverty on progress, especially in farming. The Sarkin Sudan urged legislators to provide palliatives and employment opportunities for the people.

Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba updated on the Minna-Kontagora road project and assured support for job creation. The Senator concluded the visit with an inspection of completed educational facilities, reflecting his commitment to community development through initiatives like UBEC-supported projects at Junior Secondary School Kwangwara Kontagora.
