Edo State Police Command have detained Godslove Saraki and Henry Osaigbovo, due to the reported death of a cyclist in Edo State named Abdullahi.

It was learned that the incident took place in the state’s Ovia North LGA, specifically in the Ekiadolor community.

According to SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the spokesperson for the command, Godfrey Igwe reported at the Ekiadolor Police Station that he purchased a motorcycle and gave it to Abdullahi, whose last name is yet to be confirmed, for use in commercial transportation.

He claimed that the complainant was informed by the aforementioned Abdullahi that he had been severely injured in an attack and theft of his motorcycle at the Energy filling station on Ogheghe Road.

He claimed that after being taken to the hospital, the victim passed away.

According to Chidi, one Godslove Saraki was taken into custody by police officers with the motorcycle three days later.

According to him, Saraki acknowledged purchasing the motorcycle from Henry Osaigbovo, who has also been taken into custody.

Chidi stated that as soon as the investigation is finished, the suspects will face charges in court.
