The Delhi Police Special Cell has taken three individuals into custody for their alleged involvement in the distribution of party drugs. Among the seized substances were twenty ecstasy pills and 64 grams of premium cocaine, according to DCP Amit Kaushik.

The suspects, identified as Nigerian Chimobi Okpara and Ghanaians David Narh and Emmanual Nsiah, were apprehended based on information provided by the Trans Yamuna Range Special Cell, according to the Asian News International.

Narh and Nsiah were quickly apprehended on SFS Flats Road in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

Following up on tips from the Trans Yamuna Range Special Cell, a group quickly apprehended Narh and Nsiah on SFS Flats Road in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

20 ecstasy pills and 56.69 grams of cocaine were found when they were searched. After more research, Okpara was apprehended and found to be the source of the illegal goods.

Further narcotics were found at his Greater Noida Society home.

Kaushik said, “The Trans Yamuna Range of Special Cell was received about the movement of two persons involved in supplying party drugs. Acting swiftly on the information, a team of TYR/Special Cell, swung into action, and a trap was laid on SFS Flats Road, Mayur Vihar phase-3, Delhi, and the accused persons, David Narh and Emmanual Owusu Nsiah who were on a scooty were intercepted.

“On their search, a total of 56.69 grams of cocaine and 20 pills of ecstasy were recovered. A criminal case under the appropriate sections of law was registered against them in this regard and the accused were taken on police remand. On their disclosure, another accused who was the source of the recovered contraband, namely Chimobi David Okpara was apprehended and was produced in court and a search warrant of his flat in a Greater Noida Society was taken from the court.

“On the search of his flat, a further 7.12 grams of Saing was recovered.  Efforts are on to identify the forward and backward chain of the syndicate, total of 64 grams fine quality cocaine and 20 pills of Ecstasy recovered, Were supplying cocaine and ecstasy pills in parties.”

Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Narh arrived in India in December 2023 as a result of financial difficulties. In Africa, he got to know Chimobi David Okpara, who brought him up to date on Delhi’s drug trade.

Nsiah, a native of Accra, Ghana, relocated to India in the middle of January 2024 after friends advised her to do so in order to pursue better career prospects.

Okpara gave him instructions to deliver drugs.

Okpara, a 27-year-old Nigerian, first arrived in India in 2018 and settled in Mumbai before beginning his drug trafficking career in Delhi/NCR. Eventually, he made Casa Granda, Greater Noida, his home, and carried on with his illicit activities there.
