The Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) Unit of the Lagos State Ministry of Education, has dismissed the school resumption timetable, which has been circulating on social media.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said earlier, that the resumption date he announced was tentative, the supposed 2020/2021 academic calendar states that the first term will commence on September 21 and conclude on December 18, 2020. January 11, 2021 and May 3, 2021, were given respectively, as the start dates for second and third terms.
However, the OEQA Spokesman, Emmanuel Olaniran, in a statement released on Monday August 31, said this calendar did not emerge from his office.
There is still no concrete date given, for resumption of schools.
