Lagos was heading in wrong direction — Tinubu on Ambode administration

NEWS DIGEST – The National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, on Friday, criticized the administration of former governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Tinubu complained that the ship of state was “heading in the wrong direction” and had to be steadied.

The APC stalwart explained it was the reason political leaders endorsed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat.

Tinubu said the duo have not disappointed, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the End SARS riots.

The politician hailed the Lagos cabinet; he described them “great performers and doers”.

Tinubu appealed to youths to shun violence and embrace dialogue in the nation.

“Don’t copy vagabonds and those who are into thuggery. There is no development if there is no peace. We must encourage peace.

“Destruction and disruption will not help you to reach the destination you desire to reach. We will support your aspirations but ensure peace in our state and country”, he said.
