The Lagos State Government, through Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), sealed nine hotels and a company to combat noise pollution and environmental violations.

The places affected include Fabtol Hotel & Suites, Lustet Hotel, Emery Hotel, CF Hotel & Suites, Trending Place Hotel, Tomakan Nigeria Limited, Witsspring Suites, Sikkyrolex Hotel, and Million Dollar Imperial Hotel.

Others are Kidzmall, and Lounge 14A were all affected in various parts of Isolo and Gbagada.

LASEPA made this known via its X handle on Thursday saying the ongoing efforts are to address noise pollution and environmental concerns.

In recent actions, churches, event centers, and establishments in Lagos Island, Ojudu, Ogba, Magodo, and Ikosi faced closures in October 2023, including New Jerusalem Ark of God International Church and Yplus Event Centre.

The agency also sealed a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish, Ifelodun Mosque, and Quilox nightclub in December 2023, marking the second closure of Quilox in a year. The joint operation with the Lagos State Safety Commission targeted environmental and safety infractions in the popular nightclub owned by Shina Abiola Peller.
