NEWS DIGEST- The management of the Katsina United FC of Katsina has been dissolved with immediate effect by the Katsina State Government. The state’s Commissioner for Sports, Malam Yusuf Rabiu-Jirdede, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, the dissolution is critical to the government’s efforts towards reinvigorating it to perform better in the league. Rabiu-Jirdede informed the public that an interim management committee has been given approval to oversee club operations until the management team is reconstituted.
In his statement, Rabiu-Jirdede extended gratitude to the outgoing management for their contribution towards improving the club. He wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

The commissioner detailed that the dissolution would set Katsina United FC on a path to reposition the team for optimal performance.
“Those appointed to head the affairs of the club as members of the interim management committee are as follows: Alhaji Kabir Danlami-Rimi, Gaddafi Muhammad-Rudwan, Aminu Abdullahi-Leno and Abubakar Sani.
“The outgoing management is to hand over the affairs of the club, including all assets to the interim management committee with immediate effect.
