Lawyers representing Aminu Ado Bayero have formally withdrawn from the case at the State High Court amid the ongoing Kano Emirship tussle.

This decision was announced during proceedings, where Mr. Abddul Muhammed SAN, leading the legal team, presented an affidavit of fact, a notice of appeal, and a motion for stay of proceedings.

The court session, presided over by Justice Amina Adamu-Aliyu, saw Muhammed’s request for an adjournment to respond to newly served court documents denied.

Following this, Muhammed and his colleagues applied for the withdrawal of their legal services and appearances on behalf of Aminu Ado Bayero.

The judge subsequently adjourned further proceedings on the matter until July 18, pending rulings on various pending applications.
