Fuel Scarcity Abuja

Fuel Scarcity hits Zamfara State, Leading to Station Closures and High Prices

Fuel scarcity has resurfaced in parts of Zamfara State, with numerous filling stations closed.

Areas affected include Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Tsafe, and others. Reports indicate that fuel is not being dispensed at most stations, and those open are selling a liter of fuel for between N800 and N850.

Despite attempts to gather information from independent oil marketers, they declined to comment on the situation.

Vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders expressed disappointment at the return of long queues at filling stations.

One individual, Abubakar Tukur, lamented the reemergence of the problem after a period without long queues.
