Gianluca Di has disclosed that Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is likely to join either Arsenal or Chelsea in the upcoming summer transfer window, despite Paris Saint-Germain’s keen interest.

Osimhen, the Nigerian forward, recently extended his contract with Napoli until 2026, including a release clause of around 130 million euros.

PSG sees Osimhen as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappé, who appears set to leave the club.

Osimhen, who previously played for Lille in Ligue 1, scoring 13 goals in 27 appearances during the 2019-2020 season, is reportedly leaning towards a move to the Premier League rather than returning to France.

While PSG has a strong relationship with Napoli, Osimhen is focused on showcasing his skills in the Premier League with either Chelsea or Arsenal.

“I’m not so convinced that Osimhen goes to PSG, he has already played in France with Lille, logical, PSG is something else and would allow you to face matches like the Champions League semi-final, but his preference was and remains England,” Di Marzio said in quotes relayed by Spazio Napoli.
