Fighting against harassment of women sexually, By Maryam Abdullahi

NEWS DIGEST – It is correct, the world intermingles man and woman, there is no refuting the reality that men and women are connected in the requisite matters of life. Since sexual harassment have posed invasive, it is profoundly paramount to question the integrity of certain men. It has been a puzzling wonder whether or not some men are oblivious of certain distinctive customary etiquette, societal norms, and the existence of religions doctrine.
Do men need to be told to show decorum or be morally conscious? Do men no longer desire prestige? They let slacken some saucy urge that surpassed their conscience. One inquisitive part of this lengthy and despicable vice is the rampant ground it holds.
It is alarming that, though condemned, people still actively indulge in this illicit act that is invidious to reputation and invites moral debasement. The point is, why must women be sexually harassed all through paths of life, starting from secondary school where some impudent and unwanted youth corpers are to serve but seduce the sexual consciousness of the female students, stretching condemned invitation to their rathole of a lodge and absconding their regions after jeopardizing the future of the adolescents. As if that is not enough, in the university, cases of sexual harassment have gained popularity and have been rapidly recorded in recent times. Female students are let to fail, carry over courses and are even detained longer than necessary, if they decline to succumb to their imposition.
What about the place of work? Majority of women are stamped with teaching jobs, which they regard more safer compared to other jobs that may attract sexual harassment. It is unfair that women participation in federal and state appointment is limited, women are harassed in their course of job hunting. Some women are earning a living today because they gave into the sexual demands of some selfish bloke occupying unworthy positions. And these days, area boys are becoming notorious rapists, glueing women to their homes within a specified duration. It is awfully unpalatable, for this sexual humiliation has snatched women away from several social engagements.
If it is right to ask, what’s the benefit of tarnishing the image, terminating lives and jeopardizing the future exuberance of a young lady?
The society must be at alert about this vice. We need to adopt more crucial measures to discourage this unconventional indulgence. People should be implored to ardently study their religion scriptures in order to comprehend  best the implications of prohibited sexuality. Help women fight against sexual harassment for a safer tomorrow!
