To ensure the smooth operation of the television station, Dr. Akinde appealed for the support of the indigenes of Yewaland to assist in connecting the institution to a 33KVA power line, thus ensuring a consistent and reliable power supply. Currently, the rising cost of diesel has presented a challenge for the polytechnic, preventing them from utilizing various technological innovations that have been developed.

Dr. Akinde expressed his gratitude to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for generously providing the equipment needed for the TV station. He highlighted the importance of a constant supply of electricity for the functioning of the studio and the ability to effectively serve the community.
