BREAKING: FCT COVID-19 testing centre ‘shut down’ as Nigeria records 381 new cases

NEWS DIGEST – Nigeria has recorded 381 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, just as the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, testing centres have virtually shut down after running short of testing kits.

The News Digest observed that FCT recorded zero cases in the Thursday’s update by the NCDC via its twitter handle.

Lagos state recorded nearly half of the 381 new cases.

A total of 3,526 cases have now been recorded in 34 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

The number of fatalities increased from 103 to 107, while recoveries increased from 534 to 601.
