Eid-el-Fitr: What Hon. Kwande told constituents
NEWS DIGEST – Member representing Bassa/Jos North federal constituency, Hon (Dr) Suleiman Yahaya Kwande urges the good people of Bassa/Jos North to rid their hearts and minds of hate, political, ethnic, religious intolerance and prejudice, which he says promote divisiveness.

In his passionate Sallah message on the occasion of Eid-el Fitr celebration, the lawmaker says every passing day he is saddened by the “deepening frenzy of hate, intolerance and bigotry”, which produce toxic effects on unity and harmony among the good people of Bassa/Jos North and the entire Plateau State.
He added that, While we all pray to Almighty Allah for forgiveness from previous sins and good in the hereafter, similarly we should pray for peace and prosperity to our fatherland. May Allah accept our fasting and individual supplications, forgive our limitations and grant us His infinite mercies.
Kwande wishes Muslims a happy and peaceful Sallah celebration.
