74 alleged online scammers have been taken into custody by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) Ibadan Zonal Command in Ogun State.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, stated as much in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

Mr. Oyewale said that after surveillance and intelligence revealed their alleged online offenses, the accused fraudsters were taken into custody at Government Residential Area, G.R.A., Shagamu in Ogun State.

“Items recovered from them include seven exotic cars, three laptops, 124 mobile phones, one PlayStation 3 game, two motorcycles and other incriminating documents.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” he said.
