NEWS DIGEST – The visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Lagos has caused an unprecedented shut down on the economic activities of the state, The News Digest can report.

Residents and traders in the state currently walk miles in defiance of the movement gridlock caused by the President’s visit.

It would be recalled that the Lagos state Government earlier declared a public Holiday due to the visit in the state.

The president is scheduled to commission a Bus Terminal amongst other projects in the state.

Lagos state is one of the most vibrant state in terms of Economy in the country with daily income running into several billions of Naira

As at 2017,the state generates over 26 billion Naira monthly in Internally generated revenue with Millions of persons using the Lagos roads daily.
