Zlatan vs Cuppy: Davido reacts to threat against Israel DMW
NEWS DIGEST – Popular singer, Davido has reacted to the legal threat from DJ Cuppy against his associate, Israel DMW amid Zlatan and Cuppy feud.
NEWS DIGEST reported that Israel Afeare revealed why Zlatan Ibile blocked Cuppy on Instagram and WhatsApp social media.
According to Isreal who is Davido’s personal logistics manager, he claimed that despite the commercial success of the 2019 hit song, ‘Gelato’, by DJ Cuppy and Zlatan. He alleged the disc jockey of not compensating Zlatan.
He further alleged that the disc jockey took Zlatan for her fundraiser in Abua where she made billions of naira but she never paid Zlatan neither did she cater to his accommodation.

This was after Zlatan denied knowing who Cuppy is, during an interview on Soundcity’s ‘TheSwitch’ show, despite the successful ‘Gelato’ song.
Zlatan said this just weeks after Cuppy revealed that she was blocked by the rapper on all social media platforms.
In response to Israel’ allegations, Cuppy revealed that the agreement on the Gelato song with Zlatan has not been breached in any form. She, however, threatened to sue Israel for libel and defamation.
She said, “For the record, there have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyer. However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation! See you in court Isreal.”
Davido, who reacted to Cuppy’s threat on Instagram, with a comment on her post, saying “Tule”, a slang which means that she should leave Israel.
