The Federal Government on Tuesday approved Thursday 11th April 2024 as an additional public holiday to celebrate this year’s Eid -El-Fitr.

Recall that the Tuesday and Wednesday had been declared public holiday by the government earlier. The announcement of Thursday as additional holiday was as a result of the Sultan of Sokoto’s declaration that Ramadan fasting ends Wednesday.
The Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, disclosed this on Tuesday via his X account.
He congratulated the muslim Ummah for a successful completion of a month of spiritual rejuvenation and reiterates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to providing a safe and prosperous Nigeria for all to thrive.
