Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a loan move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho following his successful six-month stint at Borussia Dortmund. Sancho, 24, returned to Dortmund last season after a falling out with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag due to training issues.

Despite interest in making Sancho’s move to Dortmund permanent, United’s £40 million asking fee has deterred potential buyers. Spanish outlet SPORT indicates that Barcelona have renewed their interest in the former Manchester City winger, considering a season-long loan arrangement.

New Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is said to be an admirer of Sancho’s skills, but any deal might depend on Barcelona offloading Raphinha this summer. Sancho would be expected to provide competition and cover for the wide positions in Flick’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

In addition, Barcelona are looking to sell Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati, with Fati returning to the club after an underwhelming loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion.
