Optajoe lists Nigeria as 15th best team to win World Cup
NEWS DIGEST -The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been listed as the 15th team on the hierarchy of chances to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup by renowned football statistics and facts website, Optajoe.

The World Cup predictor was done for all the 32 teams that will be in Russia for this summer’s tournament.
While the Super Eagles were given a 1.5 chance of lifting the vaunted trophy, Argentina who are also in Group D are listed third with a 10.1 percent chance of becoming champions. Croatia and debutants Iceland are 12th with 1.9 percent and 13th on 1.3 per cent chances respectively.
Five-time winners Brazil have the highest chance of becoming world champions with 13.2 percent while holders Germany are second on 10.7 percent.
The tournament kicks off on thursday in Moscow with hosts Russia locking horns with Saudi Arabia while Nigeria kickstart their campaign with a clash against Croatia on saturday.
