Toyota, a manufacturer of automobiles, announced on Tuesday that an explosion at a supplier’s plant has forced them to temporarily halt operations in Japan.

Following an explosion the day before at one of the plants of supplier Chuo Spring in Aichi Prefecture, Toyota reported that 10 manufacturing lines at six factories had been shut down.

The automaker announced that it will determine on Wednesday whether it was possible to restart the impacted production lines.

Toyota has 14 assembly plants across Japan, producing cars for the domestic and overseas markets.

Due to a server issue, the automaker recently had to cease domestic production for a day.

The following day, production was resumed.
