Bashir Ahmad, a Digital Communications Aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will unveil his much-awaited ministerial list on Tuesday.

Ahmad shared this information on his official Twitter handle on Monday night.

According to the 1990 Constitution as amended, the President has until the end of the week to submit his Ministerial list for screening and confirmation of his cabinet at the National Assembly. With just five days left, the announcement of the ministerial list on Tuesday would be timely.

Ahmad mentioned that the list would be announced at the Senate on Tuesday, unless there is a last-minute change.

“Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s much-anticipated ministerial nominees’ list will be announced by the Senate tomorrow, Tuesday,” he wrote.

The ministerial list is expected to include at least one nominee from each of the 36 States. This is in line with the President’s promise to ensure that his cabinet is reflective of the diversity of Nigeria’s regions.
