Tinubu Promises Not to Disappoint Nigerians
President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that he will not let them down.
In a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, marking Nigeria’s 25th anniversary of democracy, Tinubu appealed to citizens to endure the current economic hardships. He emphasized that these difficult reforms are necessary to establish a solid economic foundation for the country.
“As we continue to reform the economy, I shall always listen to the people and will never turn my back on you,” he said.

Tinubu also spoke on the recent talks with organized labour on a new national minimum wage, adding that the government negotiated in good faith and will shortly present an executive measure to the National Assembly to entrench the agreed-upon salary for the next five years or less.
He emphasized the importance of both political and economic democracy, urging the nation to continue striving for a brighter future.
The president acknowledged the country’s economic woes and the need for changes to provide a better platform for future prosperity.
