President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a bilateral meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. This meeting comes after Tinubu attended Ramaphosa’s second-term inauguration ceremony yesterday.

The discussions aim to bolster the relationship between Nigeria and South Africa, focusing on areas of mutual interest such as economic cooperation, security, and regional stability. Both leaders are expected to explore strategies to enhance collaboration and address common challenges facing their countries.

Notably, President Ramaphosa is meeting Tinubu at his hotel. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa for diplomatic, economic, and bilateral talks after a successful Presidential Inauguration Ceremony,” Dada Olusegun, Tinubu’s media aide, wrote on X.

The presidency has announced that details from the ongoing bilateral meeting will be released shortly.
