President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the nod for the appointment of eight Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service. These selections, arising from a recent rigorous process led by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, aim to enhance service delivery across Federal Ministries.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, Rimi Nura Abba, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Raymond Omenka, Ahmed Dunoma Umar, Watti Tinuke, and Ella Nicholas Agbo. In a statement by Spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu urged them to leverage their expertise for the effective execution of the Renewed Hope mandate.

Additionally, President Tinubu has greenlit the appointment of 10 qualified individuals to the Board of Directors of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI). Dr. Shamsudeen Usman will serve as Board Chairman, with members including Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang, Mr. Tajudeen Datti Ahmed, Mr. Femi Ogunseinde, Mrs. Oluwakemi Owonubi, Mrs. Fatima Nana Mede, Mr. Ike Chioke, Ms. Chantelle Abdul, Mr. Alheri Nyako, and Mr. Bolaji Rafiu Elelu.

The President tasked the appointees to prioritize accurate performance assessments of government-owned enterprises, emphasizing the consistent attainment of the highest returns on investments made in the trust of the Nigerian people. President Tinubu also urged the MOFI Board and Management team to ensure a results-driven performance at the highest level.
