Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has extended his congratulations to the Governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) following their recent victory at the Supreme Court.
The legal disputes that arose from the gubernatorial elections, which held on March 18, 2023, were resolved to a conclusion by the Supreme Court.
The court’s decision on Friday confirmed the victories of the four PDP governors who were implicated in the legal disputes.

The victorious PDP governors include Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau).
In response to the court’s decision, Senator Tambuwal, who previously served as the head of the Nigerian Governors Forum, sent a congratulatory note to the victorious governors.
He said, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to H.E Bala Mohammed, H.E Caleb Mutfwang, H.E Dauda Lawal, and H.E Umo Eno on the affirmation of their victory by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.”
As the former Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Tambuwal expressed his hope that the victory would usher in a period of unprecedented development for the people of Bauchi, plateau, Zamfara and Akwa Ibom states.
