Students of Radev Early Education Centre, Iberekodo, which is a school built for lepers’ children, have called out to the Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, to aid in providing infrastructure and perimeter fencing of their school.

The school, which is located at the lepers’ colony, accommodates about 575 children, ranging from nursery to primary six.

Some students who spoke with a Vanguard correspondent, lamented over the neglect and poor state of the school.

A primary six student by the name Saidat Balogun, said the school is special, but they government should not make them feel less or discriminated against.

Ayo Adeligba, Headmaster, said the school had been established for children of lepers living in the colony, and that pupils in the neighbourhood were also benefiting form this programme.
He also noted, that the government has begun construction of some buildings in the school, stating that the number of classrooms available, were not conducive.
