President Bola Tinubu had last Thursday met all 36 state governors under the auspices of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum at the Council Chamber of the Aso Rock Village, Abuja.

The meeting followed the recent hike in food prices, economic hardship and pockets of insecurity recorded nationwide.

After the meeting, the president ordered the National Security Adviser  Nuhu Ribadu; the Inspector General of Police  Kayode Egbetokun; and the Director General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi; to collaborate with governors and go after those hoarding foodstuff due to the current food crisis the country is facing.
