Saliu Mustapha mourns KWASU VC Professor Akanbi
NEWS DIGEST – The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has expressed sadness over the death of the Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Muhammed Akanbi (SAN).
The news of the death of Professor Akanbi was announced by his family on Sunday evening.

According to a statement he personally signed, Mallam Mustapha who is also the Turaki of Ilorin commiserated with the students and management of Kwara State University and the good people of Ilorin over the great loss.
“The death is shocking and painful, not just because of its suddenness but also because Kwara state has lost one of the builders and major contributor to the growth and development of the Kwara state educational sector.
“And Nigeria has lost an erudite scholar of international standing.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive the soul of the deceased and grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he prayed.
