The Princess of Wales is set to make a poignant appearance at the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

This will mark only her second public outing since undergoing abdominal surgery earlier this year following a cancer diagnosis.

Last month, she was warmly received at Trooping the Colour, where she appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, smiling and waving to well-wishers.

Scheduled to present the men’s singles trophy, a role she has fulfilled as patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for eight years, the princess will be part of a historic match between defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and the formidable seven-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic.

Her attendance comes amid her ongoing treatment, where she recently shared that she’s making progress but remains cautious about her health journey.
