President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will mark the first anniversary of his administration on May 29 with a series of project inaugurations across the nation beginning Sunday.

The President departed Abuja for Lagos on Saturday ahead of numerous project inaugurations scheduled for Sunday.

Some of these illustrious projects include the concrete-paved road to Apapa and Tin Can Island ports, the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge, and the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.

In addition, Tinubu is scheduled to virtually inaugurate the prestigious Lagos-Calabar Superhighway, a monumental project linking nine coastal states, estimated to cost around N15 trillion. The initiative aims to bolster connectivity and economic development along the coastal regions.

Upon his return to Abuja on Tuesday, Tinubu will commission the Southern Parkway, named in his honour by the FCT Administration, and unveil the National Assembly Complex, also named after him.

Further activities planned for the week include attending the National Assembly Dialogue Series, relaunching the commercialization of the Abuja Light Rail with a symbolic train ride to the city centre, and inaugurating the Wuye Flyover-Link Bridge, the Defence Intelligence Agency Headquarters, and the NASENI-Portland Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Reverse Engineering Centre at Utako on Friday, May 31.
