Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s elder sister, Madam Obebhatein Jonathan, has died at the age of 70.
The statement claims that the deceased, also referred to as Amissi, was a devoted mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, and former teacher who devoted her life to serving God and mankind.

The notification said that the funeral arrangements would be shared by the family and that the burial has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 16th, 2024.
Three children, her siblings, and her mother, Mama Eunice Afeni-Jonathan, survive Madam Obebhatein Jonathan.
