According to the BBC on Wednesday, no less than 90 schoolgirls in a Kenyan school have been diagnosed with an illness after experiencing trouble walking.

According to Kenyan health officials, an inquiry into the health crisis is currently underway because the students have been admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, the female pupils at Eregi Girls High School in the west of the nation also had signs of knee pain.

According to Jared Obiero, the regional director of education, “the county government, the public health department, and the education department are giving a commitment that the children will be treated.”

A senior official from the nation’s Ministry of Education visited the school earlier on Tuesday and reassured the anxious parents that things were under control.

He stated that other students’ classes would go as usual.

According to reports, the sick pupils’ blood, stool, and urine samples were submitted to labs in a nearby city in Nairobi, the capital of the country.

The test results are anticipated later today.
