Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke suspended his Senior Special Assistant on Civil Societies, Emmanuel Adebisi.

This directive was contained in an announcement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Wednesday.

The suspension is pending the outcome of investigations led by the governor’s Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye.

Governor Adeleke also cautioned transport workers in Osun State against actions that could lead to violence and lawlessness.

He instructed the Commissioner for Transportation to organize a reconciliatory meeting among the factions within the transport sector.

Adeleke emphasized, “Our administration is committed to maintaining peace and order in Osun State. We will not tolerate any form of lawlessness or violence.”

Furthermore, the governor highlighted the state’s efforts in enhancing revenue collection through automated processes, ensuring accountability, and eliminating revenue diversions.
