Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, has died at the age of 42.

Bamalli, a Prince of Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State, was the Magajin Garin Zazzau and younger brother to the incumbent Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamalli.

A statement by the Media and Publicity officer of the Zazzau Emirate Council, on Friday, said Ambassador Bamalli died at a private hospital in Lagos while in transit to Morocco.

The statement added that “funeral prayers will be announced later.”

Bamalli was appointed Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022.

Before his appointment, he was a deputy director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He is survived by a wife and two children.
