NFF Suspends Referee After Controversial Decision in NPFL Match
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has suspended referee Tijjani Majidadi from officiating in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following his performance in a match between Rivers United and Katsina United.

Mohammed Ameenu, the chairman of the Referee Committee, confirmed this in a memo sent to the official.
The suspension, effective immediately, came after a controversially cancelled goal scored by Katsina United during the rescheduled matchday 28 clash at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Rivers United emerged victorious with a 2-0 win in the game.
